Verification of technical parameters
The Extral extrusion department is equipped with its own laboratory, where the mechanical parameters of profiles are tested on a ZWICK Z050 and ZWICK Z250SN strength testing machine, and hardness is tested using a Webster HARDNESS TESTER.
Dimensional verification
Extral has a specialised measuring system: Promex Expert 260/300 ASCONA and ASCONA – 380/500, as well as a modern 3D measuring machine – HEXAGON, GLOBAL CLASSIC 09.300.8 and Hexagon Absolute Arm 8525 measuring frame with AS1 V2P scanner
In addition, the Extral extrusion department has a whole range of additional measuring equipment such as roughness testers, coating thickness gauges, digital rulers, etc.
The ASCONA PROMEX device allows for very fast and precise cross-sectional testing of complex profile shapes with an accuracy of ±20µm.
Thanks to modern verification technology, we are able to guarantee the appropriate quality and repeatability of manufactured products across a very wide range.
The HEXAGON 3D measuring machine, GLOBAL CLASSIC 09.300.8, belongs to the latest generation of portal coordinate measuring machines. Due to its dynamics and speed of movement in all axes, the GLOBAL machine achieves the highest measuring performance and very high measuring accuracy of ±2.5µm. The Hexagon Absolute Arm 8525 measuring arm ensures high mobility, flexibility of use, and speed and efficiency of measurement processes. It allows for measurements in a measurement laboratory as well as on the production floor or on the machine on which the parts are manufactured.
