PRE-CONSUMER POST-CONSUMER
Pre-consumer content - refers to products made from manufacturer waste, including Extral, which never reach the end customer. This is production waste, which includes: substandard profiles rejected during production (scrapped due to poor surface quality, dimensions, etc.) and waste resulting from technology. This waste is properly sorted according to the types of aluminium alloys from which it was produced and sent to a smelter to be remelted into high-quality material for the production of profiles.
Post-consumer content - these are products that have already been used by the consumer/user as an end product and will no longer be used for their intended purpose. Examples include recycled aluminium profiles, window and door structures, etc. These products can be recycled to a certain extent, but the raw material obtained from them will be used for other purposes.
