INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY

 

Extral Sp. z o.o. operates in the following areas: production of aluminium ingotsbillets, design and production of aluminium profiles using the extrusion method, and fabricationmechanical treatment.

Our goal is to achieve customer satisfaction and maintain an appropriate level of quality in the services we provide, as well as to care for the environment and the safety of our employees and products.

Thanks to the integration of the Quality Management System based on EN ISO 9001:2015 with the Environmental Management System based on EN ISO 14001: 2015 and the Energy Management System based on EN ISO 50001:2018, we strive for reliability and dependability in our customer relations, while caring for the well-being of our employees and the natural environment, improving energy performance and supporting the local community.

We achieve our goals by:

  • Building close relationships with our customers in order to understand their expectations and requirements.
  • Building lasting partnerships in the supply chain of services and means for the production of aluminium profiles, and creating added value at Extral in the form of manufacturing, including subcontractors for surface treatment, in order to comprehensively meet our customers’ needs.
  • Organising work and consistently modernising technical equipment, aimed at increasing work efficiency, improving energy performance and product quality while optimising manufacturing processes and related costs.
  • Ensuring appropriate and consistent product quality, as well as ensuring adequate product safety and minimising the risk of defects and errors.
  • Continuous improvement of all processes within the company in order to achieve adequate effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
  • Cooperation with suppliers who ensure the reliability, robustness and energy efficiency of their products and services and are sensitive to issues related to environmental protection, respect for human rights and legal regulations.
  • Ensuring the availability of information on energy performance, quality, environmental and energy objectives within the organisation.
  • Providing the resources and means necessary to achieve the objectives set.
  • Sustainable use of resources and systematic improvement of environmental impact parameters caused by production activities through: reducing energy and raw material consumption, emissions of pollutants into the environment, water pollution, and increasing the amount of economically utilised post-production waste and improving energy performance through systematic improvement of production technology, efficiency and productivity, modernisation of technical equipment for environmental protection, implementation of pro-efficiency technologies and projects, increasing the amount of recycled materials in production, and managing and supporting the disposal of waste generated in the production process.
  • Creating safe, pro-environmental and pro-efficiency attitudes and behaviours among employees through continuous improvement of qualifications and involvement in activities aimed at environmental protection, continuous improvement of energy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance with applicable legal regulations and other requirements relating to quality, environmental aspects, aspects related to energy use, efficiency and consumption, and others.
  • Involving all employees in the implementation of the Integrated Management System requirements in accordance with their duties, competences and responsibilities.
  • Continuously improving and refining activities related to the environment, energy performance, employee safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting purchasing and design processes that take energy efficiency aspects into account.

On behalf of the entire staff, I declare that this IMS Policy is understood, implemented, communicated, maintained and will be continuously updated at all levels of the organisation, including companies cooperating with Extral.

One of the basic tasks carried out as part of the Environmental Management System is the continuous monitoring and strict supervision of identified environmental aspects and minimising their negative impact on the environment.

One of the basic tasks carried out within the Energy Management System is the continuous monitoring of the company's energy performance and its improvement through the introduction of improvements that increase the energy efficiency of the processes carried out.
